The Buc-ee’s Stops Here

Filed under:

I tell people that Tampa to New Orleans is a long drive, but worth it, because there are two Buc-ee’s on the way.

That usually elicits one of two reactions: I’m so jealous or What the hell is a Buc-ee’s.

Oh, poor people in the second group. I pity you. Here’s a video I made at the Buc-ee’s in Pass Christian, Miss.,1,2 to show you what you’re missing.

Footnotes

  1. All of the videos are from Pass Christian, but the still images are from a prior visit to the Buc-ee’s in Robertsdale, Ala. ↩︎
  2. Pass Christian is pronounced pas KRUS-chee-an. Try to smoosh the last two syllables into one syllable, and don’t forget to add a thick Mississippi drawl. ↩︎
